Grand Rapids Facility Care

Seating: As with all Michigan AAU VB tournaments spectators need to bring non-marking chairs.

Cooler & Food regulations will be posted for each facility

Water Only is allowed inside all playing areas

Tailgate parties are allowed OUTSIDE (as long as you clean up after your group).

Smoking is not allowed inside or on the grounds of any facility

Team Roster
A copy of the completed team roster needs to be given to each tournament host at check in. The tournament host will keep this form. Do not mail this form to the to the tournament director. Click here to download a team roster form.

 

Tournament Check-in

Coaches will need either a current permanent AAU Card or a current temporary AAU card stamped in Red and Blue with MJVBA expires 2008 for every athlete, coach,any team personnel.

Birth certificates will not be required at check-in this year but coaches must have a copy of each players birth certificate in case there is a question about a players age.

 

If you have athletes playing under the MJVBA age modifications for 14,13 or 12's check for the additional required paper work on the age definitions page.

 

Medical Authorization

All clubs should have on file a medical authorization slip signed by the athlete and a parent or guardian granting permission for emergency medical treatment. The form should list emergency contact information. A duplicate copy should be with the coach at every practice and competition.

 

 

2008 MJVBA Association Championship

Housing Information

 

We are using a new housing service to help track hotel usage. This data is critical when planning future events.

AES is the recommended Housing Bureau for MJVBA Association Championships . AES have negotiated great rates with hotels throughout the area. Follow the directions below to book rooms or to see the rates. For online support or if you need more rooms than available, contact Scott McQueen.

 

If you have already booked your rooms directly with hotels you need to contact Scott McQueen.

 

Directions for Club Directors,Parents, Fans, Coaches etc.

1. Click Here to Reserve a Room.

2.  On the Select an Event, pick either the  Event Name, then Select a User Type. Follow steps outlined on WEB Page.

If you are a parent, select the state of the club you are with, and then pick the club you are with.

Club Directors - if your club participated in the 07 championships the easiest and recommended way to book your rooms is to select parent as user type.

If you select team staff you will need to log into your account. If you forgot your user login and/or password contact technical support at AES.

If your club did not participate in the 07 championships you will have to create an account on AES before booking rooms.

3.  List of hotels appears, select a Hotel by clicking on the name of the hotel you selected. 

4. Select your check in and check out dates. Then click check availability.

5. Enter the amount of rooms needed and click the Continue and Enter Room List button if you are ready to put in the rooming list.  If you are not ready to enter your rooming list, then click the Continue without Entering Room List

6.  The First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State, Zip Code, Phone Number, and Email Address are all required fields. Enter the credit card information as well. Type in the Credit Card number without any spaces. Click the Continue button.

7. Print the confirmation page with your Reservation #. This is not your Confirmation #. We will give you a Confirmation # from the Hotel.

8. If you need to update your reservations, click here. Enter email address along with Reservation #. Prior to rooming list deadline each room will need to have it's rooming list complete.
