Team Roster
A copy of the completed team roster will need to be turned in to the site director a the state tournament. Do not mail this form. Click here to download a team roster form.

 

Tournament Check-in

Coaches will need either a 2008 permanent AAU Card or a 2008 temporary AAU card stamped in Red and Blue with MJVBA expires 2008 for every athlete & coach.

Birth certificates will not be required at check-in this year but coaches must have a copy of each players birth certificate in case there is a question about a players age.

 

If you have athletes playing under the MJVBA age modifications for 14,13 or 12's check for the additional required paper work on the age definitions page.

 

Medical Authorization

All clubs should have on file a medical authorization slip signed by the athlete and a parent or guardian granting permission for emergency medical treatment. The form should list emergency contact information. A duplicate copy should be with the coach at every practice and competition.

Important Notes before beginning process

  • When asked to pick a region from the drop down menu select MJVBA (MJ)
  • If asked for USAV # - it will default to pending just leave as is.
  • If you have used AES before – you can use stored information.
  • Rosters are required for 18-16 teams and optional for 15. The rosters will be used to create a recruitment packet for College coaches.
  • Rosters must be completed on AES
  • When you check-in at the tournament the MJVBA roster that you turn in will be the official playing roster for the event.
  • You will be asked to enter a team code this will be your  5 alpha/digit MJVBA ID. The one you have been using all year.

1. Go to Advanced Event Systems to register your team and club.


2. Click on Create New Club if you are a new user. If you already have a password and username, skip to step 4.

If your club is in the system from last year or another event and you forgot your Username and Password, please click the Technical Contact button and fill out the form. AES will email you your information.


3. Next, Print the Instructions - fill out the Club Director info, creating a username and password and making sure to keep your username and password in an accessible spot for future use.


4. Enter your username and password and login.


5. Click on Staff, then "Add New Staff." Enter the information, and hit the submit button.


6. Click on Players, then "Add New Players." Enter the information, and hit the submit button. Repeat for all players.


7. Click on Teams from the list on the left.


8. Click on Add New Teams, enter info, and submit information.


9. Click on your new team, and then on "Add/Update Staff." Click on "Add New Staff" and choose from the pull down list the available names and hit submit.


10. Go back to "Teams," click on the selected team, and then on "Update Team Roster" Choose from the pull down list of available Staff (scroll down) to put a check mark next to players for this roster. AES Sorts / displays player by YEAR of birth, if you have a younger player that is not appearing – Click SHOW ALL

11. Click on "Enter Events." Find the Event name and click on it, review the Event Requirements then Hit "Register".


12. Select the division from the pull down list that you wish to enter your team and click on "Register Teams."

13. MJVBA will send out broadcast emails to inform you of other information or changes as they come available.
